Columbia 16-Red opened their tournanment season at the Selah Snowball tournament with two of their sister teams. 16-Red was prepared to shake off the winter/first tournament jitters, but wasn't prepared for a last minute pool play surprise. The change in schedule contributed to keeping the 16-Red girls from winning their pool and advancing to the Championship bracket, but didn't stop them from recovering and reaching the Consolation Final match. 16-Red went 3-2 for the day.
