Columbia 18-Black held their seed to claim a spot in the Silver Division at the CEVA Power League Qualifier. Despite playing an OH at MH due to being short-handed for the day, the Columbia ladies repeatedly challenged to move even higher up the standings, including forcing the #1 seed overall to a three set tie-breaker.
The previous weekend, three Columbia teams went the Hartner Memorial in Eugene. Unlike most years, none of those teams had a chance to play a tournament before heading to Eugene, and it showed as each of them struggled to untrack. The Columbia 18-Black ladies reached the Silver C bracket championship match before bowing out of the tournament.
