Columbia JVBC 2019-2020 Season

Columbia 13-Black got off to a great start just over a week ago. They fought to a pool win, finished 3rd in a U-14 field at their first tournament, and captured the top ranking among U-13 teams in the Evergreen Region.

This past weekend, things got a little tougher. Without any practices between the two tournaments, Columbia's youngest team arrived in Wenatchee for the Lights Out tournament and their day didn't go as well. Twice in pool play they forced teams to tie-breakers, but came up short each time. In bracket play, they fought hard, but lost by a total of 5 points over two sets. Sometimes, the day just isn't your day.

We know these girls will rebound. Work hard at practice, and go get the next one!

Columbia 13-Black scores: lost to Strike Force 14 Black 25-17, 19-25, 10-15; lost to Team Yakima 14-2 Miranda 12-25, 13-25; lost to NCWVBC 14-3 Red 5-25, 25-23, 8-15; lost to NCWVBC 14-2 Black 23-25, 22-25.
