Columbia's two U-16 teams looked unbeatable as they each swept through the field at the Columbia-hosted March Madness tournament. While Columbia 16-Black dominated one court during pool play, Columbia 16-Red dominated the court next to them. Both teams reached the Championship Semifinals on opposite side of the bracket, and an all-Columbia Championship match loomed. The semifinal match was as far as the ladies of Columbia 16-Red could go however, as they were knocked out in their first loss of the day. It was left to the ladies of Columbia 16-Black to get revenge for them, and claim the Championship Final match, but they too fell with their only loss in the exciting final match. Both teams had a great day, and may get another chance to meet each other in a final before the season ends. Congratulations, and keep it up ladies!
