It's time to start catching up on January results for Columbia teams!
Our three oldest teams all traveled to Selah on Jan. 6th for the Snowball Tournament. Columbia 15-Red and Columbia 16-Black were seeded into the same pool for morning play. After both teams struggled in their opening matches, 15-Red put up a very impressive fight before falling to their older sister team. Columbia 16-Black moved on to reach the Championship Semifinal before finishing 3rd overall for the day. Columbia 15-Black emerged from their pool to find a first round bracket play in the Consolation bracket with Columbia 15-Red. 15-Black's impressive serving was too much, and knocked their sister team out of the tournament (Columbia 15-Red finished 13th for the day.) With the momentum from that match, Columbia 15-Black went on to win the Consolation Championship, finishing 9th overall!
