Columbia JVBC 2019-2020 Season

Columbia 16-Red, SCVA National QualifierColumbia 16-Red had their first opportunity to play a National level tournament this past weekend at the SCVA National Qualifier in Las Vegas. Playing in the 16-USA Division, the Columbia ladies were a little shell shocked by the level of play on the first day. By day two, they'd recovered and began to play some really good volleyball. The big improvement in performance wasn't rewarded with match wins however.

Day three was a different story as the Columbia ladies exploded to power their way to the Flight 4 Championship match. Despite winning the opening set of the final, the gas ran out on their third day run and they finished 2nd in their bracket. This was a big learning experience for this team, who learned a lot about how to reach for a higher level of play. These ladies have some great performances ahead of them!
