February Club fees are due at practice either Friday or Sunday. Anyone who still owes part of their January fees needs to take care of that payment by Sunday. (U-11 players must have their fees paid to be eligible for their February tournament.)

Player grade reports are due Sunday. Every player needs to show their team coach a copy of their school grade report (report card, power school printout, etc.) that shows current grade point average.

Picture Day!

Columbia's Picture Day is Sunday, Feb. 4th. Team coaches have been giving out picture packets, so see your coach if you don't have a packet yet. Teams will be taking pictures as soon as they arrive and are ready, so please reach the gym ahead of your scheduled practice time. We'll see everyone there!

Vegas-bound teams book your hotel rooms here

Columbia 16-Black and Columbia 18-Black parents should book their hotel rooms now for the Las Vegas Classic. The club will be using the Excalibur Hotel and the rate should be $124 per night.

Please follow the link below to book your rooms. We highly recommend booking your rooms ASAP as we cannot guarantee when the hotel will close its block and if the rates will change. Please only put 1 guest, it’ll keep the rates lower.

Please put the CLUB name (Columbia Juniors) where it says ORGANIZATION under personal information.

Book Excalibur Rooms

After you book your room, emaiil both John (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and Chris (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) to let them know you've claimed a room.

Make up course for Ref/Score certification

Players who miss our Ref/Score clinic on Sunday will need to do the following:

  • Login to their Webpoint account and on the lower left-hand side click REGION CLINICS.
  • Select the U12-U14 or U15-U18 Junior to register for the correct course.
  • Once they have completed the registration, they can access the courses through the RED USAV ACADEMY button in their Webpoint accounts at any time.
  • Once all the modules have been completed their accounts will be updated automatically with the certification.
  • After completion, email Chris at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.to let him know to check for your updated status.

We strongly urge all players to attend the clinic (Sunday at 11am) to get the best possible instruction. Coaches need to be present by 10:30am.

Parent/Spectator Code of Conduct

All parents/guardians of Columbia players must sign the Code of Conduct for Parents/Spectators and have the signed form returned to the Coach of your player's team. This signed code of conduct is a requirement of participation for your player in the Evergreen Region. Please return these before we begin play in January.

Youth Volleyball arrives at Columbia

For the first time in our 29-year history, Columbia plans to offer a Youth Volleyball program to young players. We have a limited number of spots available in this program, and interested parents should contact Lead Coach Jennille Schab quickly.

What's different about Youth Volleyball?

  • A shorter season than our Junior USAV teams (sometime in December thru April.)
  • A lower impact practice schedule (3-4 times per week on Sunday afternoons.)
  • A low travel playing schedule (a Youth Jamboree in Spokane in February, and hopefully some scrimmage days mixed with practices.)
  • Lower costs: $300 per player spread into payments from December thru February.
  • Lighter balls (the same as our U-12 Junior team uses.)
  • Younger players (age 11 and under - players must not turn 11 before Sept. 1st of this year), and players can be several years younger as well.

What do players receive?

  • The same great coaching techniques used throughout our program.
  • T-shirt and spandex uniforms.
  • Preparation both for club and school tryouts as players prepare for middle school age teams.
  • A fun experience, introduction to volleyball skills, and a head start on the great sport of club volleyball.
  • The beginning of a lifetime of memories, experiences, and fun!

For more information, contact Coach Jennille before entry to the program closes.

Scrimmage Day!

Columbia 14, 15, 16, and 18-Black will participate in inter-club and intra-club scrimmage on Sunday, Dec. 10th. All four teams are expected to play 2-3 scrimmage matches. Players for those teams should be at the gym by 11:30am. Parents are invited to watch, but should remember that these are training matches and won't always reflect the same player roles we expect for tournament play in January.

Columbia 12-Black's practice has been shifted to 2:30, but they are invited to come early and watch our older teams as well.
