Columbia Junior Volleyball Club

"Since 1990, the purpose of Columbia Junior Volleyball has been to provide the highest level of volleyball competition, and the best volleyball experience for our players. As a club, we strive to be the best on and off the court, and to help our players to be the best they can be in volleyball, in the classroom, and in life."

Columbia JVBC 2019-2020 Season

Pick your jersey numbers!

Players can click here to request their jersey number for the coming season. Note: we try to protect the choice of returning players who request the same number. Players can't have the same number as another player on either the team above or below them in age to allow players to move between teams as needed. Give multiple choices!

Players who have made their picks will begin to show up on our rosters on our website, but their # may not show right away depending on how quick returning players choose as well.

Interested in U-11 Developmental Volleyball?

Players (and Parents) who would like to participate in a U-11 developmental volleyball program with Columbia should contact Coach Julie Estes for more information. This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

U-11 will practice roughly once a week and will participate in either scrimmage games and/or the U-11 Jamboree in Spokane. This is fun, inexpensive, and lower committment way to introduce young players to volleyball.

Information for Thursday and Friday

While our Club Director is off with the TC Prep Jaguars at the WIAA State Tournament on Thursday and Friday, John L can't easily respond to phone calls. (He's busy helping his team try to win it all.) For the next two days, please email Chris This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.for information or help. He'll do his best to get the right information to you.

Here's an update on a number of items:

  • Teams have been formed at U-13, U-14, U-15, U-16, and U-17. There are still a couple of possible openings, so if you haven't already tried out please contact Chris for more information.
  • Players who have already committed for U-17/18 (only) should plan to attend a workout session at 1pm on Sunday at TC Prep. Several additional prospective players will be trying out then.
  • Players at U-16 and younger will start practices after Sunday. (Watch our website.)
  • Initial fees will be due at first full practice.
  • Information about our U-11 Developmental program will be posted shortly.
  • Players will begin to do some items online (starting with jersey numbers) later today.

Also, some players who were unable to make our meeting last night because of the traffic accidents around the Tri-Cities should expect an email from Chris today. Several players who had not yet been offered a spot should hear from him today as well. (If you aren't sure where you stand, e-mail Chris.)

2020 Season Schedule Update

We expect NO Columbia teams to participate in CEVA Power League in the 2020 season. Changing weather and travel conditions make participation tougher for our teams. Check the parent meetings for updates on replacement tournaments for that part of our schedule.

Columbia's Summer Traveling Camp is coming!

The annual highlight of the Summer Volleyball season is returning again in July! The Traveling Camp with Dr. Mashallah Farokhmanesh (Farokh to his fans) will be returning in July. All Skills camp will run for 3 days July 8th - July 10th (Mon-Wed), and Setters/Hitters Position camp will happen on Thursday, July 11th.

Watch here for more details soon!

Also, a reminder that January fee payments will be due this weekend as well. You can give payments to your coaches at the tournaments if you'd like.

(Payments are listed on our Fees page. Questions about exact amounts that might be owed should go to Club Director John L.)
